Treating Myself

I think it’s important to give yourself a treat once in a while and with the amount of hard work I’ve been doing of late and after a not particularly easy couple of months I thought it was about time I did something for me.

So last week I bought myself a ticket to see a brass band. And last night I went. And it was brilliant. Loved it, loved it, loved it. And all on my own.
Yes. It was brilliant. And so was 2008’s BBC Young Musician of The Year, Peter Moore, who did a few numbers; he was more than a little bit special.
Glad I treated myself. And I’m glad it was to something just a little bit different. I will definitely go and see them again.

And later today I get to see the proofs of the Alzheimer’s book. Not a bad start to the week.
