Done

Done, done diddley, squidley done. Whoop.

So in the past two days (forgetting all the work that’s gone on before)…

I have now proofed and re-type-set 39 pieces for my writing group’s anthology.

AND

done the same for the 10 pieces going in the collection we’re doing to raise funds for out local British Legion (one of the group member’s a member of them, so we thought it’d be a nice idea).

AND

Sorted out a printer (after getting incredibly antsy with Lulu with their new delivery charges – they were nowhere near that when I did this last year).

AND

sorted out (when I say ‘sorted out’ I mean MADE FROM SCRATCH) both books’ covers.

AND

done one introduction and two blurbs.

I tell you what, those self-publishers out there have my sympathies. I could NEVER do that.

Thinking about it, ALL publishers have my sympathies: I couldn’t do their jobs either.

Right. Now, where’s that novel I’m working on…?

  1. I bloody do, Anne. And did I mention I have a cold? ;)Good grief indeed, Lane! It is a lot of work, let me tell you! And unpaid! I don’t mind doing it, I love my group and all, but, yikes. A lot of work. Think I might need to be more organised next time.Nik
