It’s always a nice thing to start writing in a new notebook. Like this one:
Thanks to my Twitter friends for helping me choose red. It is a nice change as the last three have been black.
And it already has a story in it. One about names.

Ooh, lovely! Is it red? It looks orange on my screen. Wish you well to write in it.
OOOOhhh! I want one of those. I do, I want one. I bet good stories get written in one of them books… bright and cheery and all smiles. I have a black one… and darkness in so many of my stories… could be the colour what’s doing it.Best of luck with your writing in that, Nik.D
Thanks D! I wouldn’t judge the mood of what’ll get written in it by its cheery coloured cover though, the darkness inside will dim it!It is a Very Good red. And the black ones have served me well so far…Keep up your great work – and best of luck with the VG project!Nik

It’s post box red – I think the orange is the camera in my phone’s fault!
I have a brand new red moleskine too – as yet untouched. Bet you fill yours up first!:-)
OK – I can see why you chose the red one – and it’s a moleskine isn’t it?! Ah well … (wanders off back to her (black) (moleskine) journal …) 🙂
Fill her up, Lane!Yes, it’s a moleskine all right – I’ve loved the black ones I’ve used in the past – this is just a nice change…Nik
