Apologies for not posting anything for a little while. Mostly, I’ve been doing edits for my collection (due out in the summer – hooray/eek) and I’m happy (and a little terrified) to say that they’ve actually been easy and (dare I say it?) fun! No major changes. Mostly it’s been a case of me rolling my eyes (at myself) and saying ‘of course’. So that’s all good.

This found its way to me via Twitter (you can follow me, should you be so inclined here – or by searching @NikPerring) – it’s an authors’ blogs awards thingummy. I might nominate somebody. Might you?

That’s it for now. More soon.
Rolling eyes and saying 'of course' is good news.Much better than tearing out hair and screaming.Much hooray for your collection blooming in the summer!
Glad to hear edits are going well. Let us know when we can order the book! Can't wait to see/read it. x
Yay! Exciting to do edits, and to not want to change it much. Lovely, lovely!
Great, Nik – it is a terrific collection. Please don't change too much? It made me laugh, cry and all the things in between, and I can't wait to see it in print.
Certainly is, Marisa! And thank you! Thanks Dot. It might possibly perhaps be early June. Maybe…Thanks T! Lovely indeed! And thanks V! Nope, nothing huge changing at all, more just little tweaks. You're very kind and lovely.Nik
Very pleased you've been enjoying the playing and snipping.Looking forward to the final version …
Can't wait to read it Nik – glad to hear the edits are going well, that's always a good sign 🙂
Thanks Megan! It has only been minor snipping; had it been anything big I don't think I'd have enjoyed it quite so much! And thank you too, Green Ink!
What – you are depriving us of your blogging so that you can edit a spiffing new collection. How selfish!;)Signed copy soon I hope. How lovely!
Super exciting about your forthcoming collection.Glad I'm not the only one who disappears off the blogosphere now and then!
Ha! It's true, Julia. I am being very selfish! I do hope you like it when it comes out, I really do.Rachel, you certainly aren't. I think we all need to every so often (though I must say that I was only gone for four days – it felt longer!).Nik
