Tired

I’m going to take a couple of days off. Yup, the first days I’ll have taken off in pretty much two years. I am taking them off because I am tired. Really tired. And a little bit fed up with certain people, institutions and organisations. Usually, when I’ve not been working so hard for such a long period of time, disappointments and let-downs are pretty much water off a duck’s back. Not so much now. They get right on my nerves and have made me, a few times recently, really cross. So to avoid me getting even more tired and cranky (and to avoid any possible break downs) I’m having a bit of me time. I doubt it’ll last long. I’ve still got loads and loads to do (writing and workshops and organising) but if I don’t blog for the next few days you’ll know why.

Being a writer, as well as being the best job in the world, can be really bloody hard at times.

And if you’re after something to read in the mean time, I think this is good.

And as an aside – if anyone knows where I can get a replacement I.T. Works ultra slim USB keyboard please let me know. This Microsoft one is a great keyboard but I really miss my I.T. Works.

  1. Hey Nik!Take care!Writing’s great but one’s health and well being are just as important. Both are not mutually exclusive so enjoy the snowdrops.Jenx
